GermanFest Comes to UNA

FLORENCE, AL – Grab your best dirndl and lederhosen, and join the Department of Foreign Languages for the eighth GermanFest on Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Memorial Amphiteatre.
Participants will receive a free German meal of currywurst, spätzle, sauerkraut, rotkohl, and gummibären. The first 100 individuals to GermanFest will also receive free t-shirts. Everyone is invited to take a selfie in front of the backdrop of the famous German castle Neuschwanstein.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 28 from noon until 2 p.m.
Where: Memorial Amphitheatre, with Wesleyan Hall as the rain location
This annual event is sponsored by the Department of Foreign Languages at UNA along with a grant from the Alabama Germany Partnership.
